Jana Haeckel is a researcher, lecturer and curator based in Brussels. Her fields of research are contemporary art and visual culture, with a focus on image and body politics. She holds a PhD in history of art (UCL, Belgium) and studied art history, comparative literature, and French philology at the Humboldt University Berlin and Sorbonne Paris.
